The image of the Lincoln was posted on a different board a while back. I have looked and looked but can't find it.
I wonder why the seller would start doing all this. He has been around for a while with no problems. Why would he risk all that on something like this. It's strange.

I think that is part of the stratage - hang out for a while , build up some solid FB, then go for the rip!
Powerstrokers response: hello I dont know what your game is but am not buying it. and on the coins all the pictures is my and the coins is my.and I hope you all do watch my future listings because am always listing great deals for people. Thanks and have a great day if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

wouldn't surprise me in the least that once an account gets a little history and FB that some accounts get sold or traded. people buy credibility all the time :-) .
. i'm going to start using existing threads here for reporting ebay items because they are starting to clutter up this forum unfortunately. so i'll just do it more efficiently.
i require your assistance to report these items. i've been in contact with many buyers from this seller from their various accounts to let them know they have bought counterfeits and/or should have their items authenticated.
they seller assures me that they are honest and does not sell fakes lol and here is the evidence
for those of you that buy from ebay, we are not permitted to post names here, but just click the links and you can get the ids that way. please do not purchase ANY of their items since you are just supporting their efforts, even if you purchase authentic items. honest sellers have a hard enough time without supporting people like these that choose to scam us. thanks
Totally agree Lance. It would be helpful if the CU has a section devoted to fraudulent/suspicious listings. Ripping off the public effects all of us. A new comer gets into the hobby only to get screwed and decides to hang it up, leaving a bad taste in his or her mouth. I've been burned for $1k, that is why I'm so passionate about nuking fraudulent auctions. It's not fair for the ones who are legitimate sellers. Tomorrow I'm contacting Heritage about the 1893S listing, already took a snapshot of the listing. Still can't find that 09SVDB pic anywhere. Powerstorker will be back and I'll nuke em again!
Ebay is such a pain to file a complaint with. All I want is to tell someone that item number 320980007505 & 320987573482 are the same damn coin, just the color is tweaked. There not even his picks, it's like Ebay doesn't care, all about the fee's. I swear they make it impossible to complete the form. Separated the two numbers with a comma and still received an error message. Would love to break this sellers jaw, one tight hook to his jaw.
I went through every single image on google images with the searches "1909 s vdb ms pcgs" and "1909 s vdb au pcgs"... couldn't spot it. I figured it was more likely to be a PCGS coin because of some of the clear plastic at the bottom-right of the obverse image.
<< <i>I swear they make it impossible to complete the form. Separated the two numbers with a comma and still received an error message. >>
anything i can do to assist? i've reported hundreds of listings for various reasons and it is always easy peasy. I do think it is frustrating to only be able to report 10 at a time, but i can live with that since the process is so smooth. i copy and paste item numbers like crazy or if that is giving problems, copy/paste them to notepad and do the comma editing there then copy and paste the final product to the report page. it sounds time consuming and difficult, but it is not. :-)
<<I went through every single image on google images with the searches "1909 s vdb ms pcgs" and "1909 s vdb au pcgs">>
I did the same about ready to throw in the towel, really not like me. Maybe if enuf complaints are filed, Ebay will nuke it. I wanted to explain to them what the deal was but the form didn't allow me to type any text, really irritated right now!
Thanks for the links Lance I was able to explain the situation to Ebay. Hopefully they'll yank the 09SVDB. Please do the same, obviously it's the same coin.

yw. remember to try and save your strength because it is going to be a long hard road ahead. you'll cause yourself too much extra wear and tear getting bent out of shape about these things and believe me when i tell you there are severely more worse things going on around us. i know it is frustrating as i have reported sellers that have and continue to sell counterfeits and while i do hold some accountability to the buyers and do take time to alert them, getting something done about the sellers is high on my list. the problem with counterfeits and ebay is far worse than i had originally thought, but i do believe they have some legal workaround to keep in mind before removing sellers and that takes time and effort. lets just keep doing our thing and reporting sellers that are breaking the law and if we stay strong we will come out victorious :-)
anyone that has a list of sellers of counterfeits, suspect or otherwise, i will gladly add them to my tracking sheets that may eventually serve a greater purpose.
nothing like covering your basis to help one sleep at night. .

I'm very passionate when it comes to people attempting to defraud others. This hobby is riddled with counterfeits, pirated pics, deceptive wording/pics, etc. I was burnt for $1k, for me it was a back breaker and still burns. I made the mistake of using a MO to pay for a 1oz. AGE. Seller claimed he didn't believe in PP and I bought it. Everything seemed ok, it wasn't way under-priced, communication was prompt, good FB, etc. He ended up burning about 15 buyers at the same time, making off with over $25k. This is my way of payback, making it difficult for others to defraud and deceive. Right now shutting down Powerstork is on top of my "TO DO" list. Thanks for you help and time Lance, Scott

Scott, I can relate. Back in the day, when I hung out on RCC, a few of us got sick and tired of the grading abuses perpetrated by a certain grading company and several ebay sellers. We publicly railed against these abuses on RCC and other venues. I contacted ebay buyers warning of grossly overgraded, cleaned, altered coins they were bidding on. We were sued for our efforts. It was unpleasant but it all worked out in the end. Make sure you CYA. Remember: No good deed goes unpunished.
