need some opinions about 54 mint set pics below

It has been my belief that 54 mint sets came with the coins inserted into cardboard rectangular boards with flaps on the boards that contained sulfer which in turn had the possibility on natural toning.. I have come across a unusual 54 mint set and I was wondering if the pics attached to this show a real 54 mint set..

If you like the coins, buy them for what you like, as they are.
They are not "as issued by the US Mint". That is aftermarket packaging.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Yes, aftermarket set. NOT mint issued.

This 1954 year set is not a mint set. The coins were packaged in green cardboard holders, and were issued as double sets with two of every coin to show the obverse and reverse. This set was put together and packaged outside of the mint. The coins might be nice, but this is not a mint set.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
