Is that like going to a fight and a hockey game broke out?

  • I once attended a Gun Show and Left with two remote control helicoptors and a full set of really nice densely threaded bed sheets.

You never know whats going to show up at those crazy Gun Shows. I have also noticed an increase in PM's at the shows.

When I go to a gun show I always have a few loose Morgans, scruffy ASEs, and a small gold coin or two in my pocket.

Has anyone noticed that the price of ammo has gone up and that deals aren't as prolific as they were 2 years ago?

Existing ammo will skyrocket in price if a proposal to require each bullet to have its own identification marker becomes law. Not sure how it would affect existing supplies in private hands.

Repetition of ignorance is ignorance raised to the power two.

Such law if passed would only apply to handgun rounds. Reloading is easy and handguns are not nearly as effective as the public perceives.

The solution would be to make your own or buy a shotgun.

This is simply another useless proposed law brought about by the misconceptions of the public.

The liberals can't ban guns so they'll do an end run on the bill of rights by making the cost of ammo prohibitive.

the opposition will then also either ban reloading or require reloading kits to comply in some manner. they then may as well require all firearms sales to be registered online or online via a police station.

be careful what ideas you throw out there. someone else could get ideas.

hopefully the "easy to thwart with tampering" aspect will prove them pointless.

No, but if I did, I sure wouldn't try to sell him any ammo. image

My friend discounts my comments, advice, and proding on silver/gold/pms. He has just retired and is aware of things going on in the country and the dollar and SHTF scenarios.

He doesnt' believe in "tinkering with gold and silver" as I do.... and says to buy more bullets. I said that is ok, but unless its a real SHTF scenario, who are you going to be selling bullets to when the dollar keeps getting devalued? There has to be a market right to sell.

He is dependant upon two good pension plans for incoming money..

  • Gun shows I am at often have coin sellers. I had a booth across from one last spring, and his business was quite brisk the entire show.

I love guns and ammo as much as the next guy, but anybody who thinks they can fend off a military unit looking to seize their assets will die trying. Been in the military in the last decade? they have equipment and capabilities far beyond your AR with an eotech sight. oh and please don't be that guy who owns 10 ARs and 5 glocks but only has 20 loaded mags for all his guns.

I stack gold and silver; and buy and sell guns. Rare guns (revolvers), and high end 1911s (we are talking the likes of wilson combat, not colts made in the last 5 years) have been outpacing my gains in the PM stacks. Revolvers I bought for 800.00 bucks 5 years ago are selling quickly for 2700-2900 now. That's why I buy guns, mostly as an investment.
