Don't even say this '67 SMS Kennedy won't at least go CAM:

After looking through another 250 '65-'67 SMS sets, finally found a nice one that I think will CAM.

Save your money, buy Franklins
But I give almost all of them a bath before submitting just for stability purposes.
<< <i>I like it and think it stands a chance but would give it a bath in acetone hoping to get rid of the spot above the G.

There's also a spot on the reverse left of C that needs to go as well.

<< <i>Acetone is cheap especially if it adds a point now and then.
Sometimes acetone doesn't have the effect you want.......
We picked up a 1967 DDO-001 from James Wiles that had some green funge on it so we gave it a bath in acetone for a few months. We submitted it to PCGS with our last order and PCGS posted the grades last Wed night
We already had a 1967 DDO-001 graded and attributed by PCGS in MS64, DDO-001 is the new FS-103. This new coin wasn't going to come close to a MS64 so we saved the $24 PCGS attribution fee and just sent the coin in for grading. Bear in mind that the 1967 DDO-001 (FS-103) is a business strike variety. For some reason, the PCGS Grader(s) chanced the coin number and now the coin is coming back to us in a SMS holder. I have heard before that the Grader(s) default to SMS on nice looking 1965 - 1967 coinage but a SP58?
and it sets us apart from practitioners and consultants. Gregor

This is a topic that still evades me to some degree ... I have zero experience with acetone and am trying to learn as much as I can before experimenting. Do you only "bathe" silver? Or can clads and coppers be bathed? What about bronze?
