Looks like a well circulated early example of a Liberty double eagle (type 1 or 2) in an older PCGS slab (no prongs). We need better pics to determine how original it is but it appears to be a fine example of a lower grade Liberty double eagle.

There is some white balance problem with that image the ring should not look like muddy water. I's mostly clear and that looks to be a white background behind it.
Thanks for the replies, as usual it is hard to tell much from lousy pics. I do like the way the toning creates a bit of contrast around the devices....

They don't have much luster at this point, throw in marginal lighting and a slightly off white balance and you've got a greyish looking gold piece.
Edit to say, it actually looks a lot better in hand, it's just hard to get the picture to look like the coin in hand.
