I didn't see my option: QE~ doesn't matter to me, I'll continue my normal allotment and purchasing schedule.

That being said, I voted #4.

Waiting for the next buying opportunity that should come between the FOMC meeting and the end of month options expiration.

Regardless of what the FED says this week, I think a good buying opportunity will be available between the 19th to 27th.
If the FED says the wrong thing, then the buying opportunity starts a little earlier than expected. Whatever the FED eventually
decides or announces, everyone knows they are pumping behind the scenes. They never stopped after QE2 ended. But don't
expect to see any program called a QE as they would ignite full blown commodity speculation.

How about, "QE is coming but I think prices are already reflective?"

    I don't speculate. . .

    I double down.

It appears that the PM "Market Makers" are tasting the waters.

"Speculators raised their appetite for precious metals for the fourth week in a row by increasing their exposure to U.S. futures and options contracts traded on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange and on the Nymex, according to U.S. government data released Friday, as hopes grew for more quantitative easing."

I've been buying and I anticipate further buying. Nothing has changed, but if it does I'll have to re-think it.

I didn't vote but the following is likely or possible imho:

    1) A lot of upward pm movement has already been built into a QE3 announcement

    2) the QE3 announcement is likely to disappoint as there are very few arrows left in Ben's quiver. He needs to save a couple. It maybe underwhelming in nature.

    3) No matter whatever he says it doesn't mean it's true or the whole story. That is the wildcard for down the road. The re reading of minutes and the language used is usually a market mover more so that the announcement itself.

    4) Expect QE3 to be a combination of several moving parts

Truth be told, I don't care what the announcement is as it is not likely to change my mind about any of my positions.
