Don't worry. Your team will get its mojo back in a few weeks when they whip the sorryass 49ers in Foxboro.

Pretty irritated that all ESPN has to say is that Brady "blew opportunities". Zero credit for Seattle's defense.

    Your kidding right? >>

    am I kidding now?

Awful plays by their best players? At least one aspect of the game totally deficient (pitching = defensive backs)? Frequent flirtation with the .500 mark?

Just like the Sox, I sure hope this team turns it around

It was all Russell Wilson. Ask any Packer Fan. ;-)

Why couldn't the Pats have chosen last week to lose a game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!image

As a Jets fan, I enjoy watching the pats lose but i still think they may be the best team in the AFC if they can get their defensive side in order. I'm pretty surprised at how porous and prone to giving up big plays their D has become as Bill's background is on the D side of the ball anyway.

I consider us very lucky to have won today.

The Jets showed up to play but in the end they couldnt stop us.

Im not sure but I think Im most happy about that Big Mouth Rex Ryan having his words stuffed up his a$$.
  • Congrats on that game, it was a friggin good one. Thankfully no horses or little kitties will be beat tonight now, but I bet it was close (nothing was done to horses or kitties during the 4th qtr if the game was it ?)

<< <i> Scoring suddenly is a bit of a struggle. Closing games has become an adventure; it's as if Alfredo Aceves is on the mound in the ninth inning for the Red Sox. >>

Well no Jet lag issues for the Patriots today image
  • But that game was in Europe. In Europe, things are backwards. The more points you have the worse it is. Patriots lost today's game BIG !

(said like a buddy sippin' a brew with ya at a bar image )

I learned about the Europe sports being backwards on the internet.

A win is a win but our Defense looks like it was still on a bye week.

    What defense?

Welcome to the Pats Aqib Talib

I still don't like this defense.
  • perkdogperkdog Posts: 30,658 ✭✭✭✭✭
This svks Gronk with a freaking broken arm, thankfully they say he will only miss 4-6 weeks.

    Back in time for playoffs????

And yes the defense is suspect but MAYBE our new corner will make an impact.
  • perkdogperkdog Posts: 30,658 ✭✭✭✭✭
One thing Id like to add is Belichek is a moron. 4th quarter blowout and Gronk who has been hurting the past few weeks is in there blocking for a stupid extra point.

he already made an impact with an INT return TD and getting personally burned for two receiving TDs

I really don't think that's when Gronk got the injury. I believe that's when he first noticed it so that's what everyone is going with. He was probably hurt much earlier on. That said, the starters should have been pulled after that last Pick Six. The bench guys really needed the play time and this would have been a great opportunity.
  • pitbosspitboss Posts: 8,643 ✭✭✭
With the way the defense has been playing the past few weeks Bilichek did not want to take a chance on not having enough points to win.

I too think he broke his forearm earlier in the game.

Saw the game at Foxboro -- incredibly after living in CT for 25 years I had never been to a Pats game. Awesome stadium, and, obviously, an awesome game to see in person! Will definitely not wait that long again to see another game.
  • grote15grote15 Posts: 29,695 ✭✭✭✭✭
Leaving Gronk in that game was ridiculous enoughi whether he was hurt before the PAT or not, especially with Hernandez already hobbled, too. Poor coaching decision.

Hey Tim! Sorry Bro, no offense to you and your team.

Ok lets say this game continues to be a rout, my question is will moron Belichek leave Key personel in there to possibly get hurt? My answer is yes, we will probably see Brady ordered to do some bootleg plays ect.. LATE in the 4th quarter.

Well, I hope Brady stays in and keeps passing the ball, not because I want to see him get hurt, but because I want to make my fantasy football playoffs! LOL..

Belichek has been doing this for years and the Patriots have been doing pretty good for those same years so I can not knock what he is doing.

Lead the way B&B to the superbowl!

  • A couple of you would give your daughters up to a Somalian gang for a Patriots win wouldn't you.

Yes it was. Congrats to the Pats and their fans. May we meet again in the playoffs but with a different outcome.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Hey Barry, sorry it wasnt at least a better game. Believe me I thought we were in for a fight but in all honesty it was only a regular season game. Playoffs are a different story so keep your chin up my friend, if we played 10 times Im sure it might be an even W/L for both squads.

  • perkdogperkdog Posts: 30,658 ✭✭✭✭✭
Eh, we lost to a very tough team.
  • pitbosspitboss Posts: 8,643 ✭✭✭
I look at the bright side.

This loss will give them the kick in the a$$ they need to play well in the playoffs.

Look at how Brady performed in the 2nd half as an example!
  • pitbosspitboss Posts: 8,643 ✭✭✭
They sure came together today, just in time for the playoffs.
  • perkdogperkdog Posts: 30,658 ✭✭✭✭✭
Ok Im very happy they won ( As they should have )

    HOWEVER

Im 100% certain that belichek is a MORON, yes a complete MORON.

I dont care what argument the smartest football guy can come up with to prove why the F Brady and other key personell are in a blowout game deep in the 4th quarter? We didnt get any injuries but the fact that they were in there blows my mind.

    On to the playoffs image

Oh and Im absolutely ecstatic that the Giants are not in imageimage
  • Hope NE gets their asses beat. Glad they didnt get home-field advantage.
