    In no particular order:

    * T205 Irvin Wilhelm, which will complete my Brooklyn Superbas set
    * several '52 Topps high number Dodgers, including Jackie
    * T3 Brooklyn set. Definitely a bucket-list type of item - I don't have any, and from what I can tell they are expensive.
    * Cracker Jack Brooklyn set - same as above.
    * 1997 Pinnacle Inside Diamond Edition Brett Butler
    * 1997 Score Dodgers Team Collection Premier Club Brett Butler
    * 1978 Topps Johnny Oates in PSA 9 (just to see if anyone is paying attention)
    * 1998 Score Team Collection Platinum 5 Brett Butler
    * Any or all of the 3 different 1997 Flair Legacy Masterpieces for Brett Butler
    * Game used Indians, Giants, Dodgers and Mets jerseys for Brett Butler

Good point about the Lotto. If I won the lotto, I might as well make all mine PSA 10's.

Maybe more like a somewhat realistic list we'd like to own someday if life treats us well! image

Great thread. I am going to list cards that I would love but either can't quite yet afford and/or just don't come up for sale often:

1948 Leaf Rocky Graziano, any PSA grade
    1974 Topps Hank Aaron #1 PSA 10
    1978 Topps Munson signed PSA/DNA
    1979 Ozzie Smith PSA 10

In the last couple of weeks, I nabbed two cards on my wish list from the BGS side of the tracks that are obviously risky, but fun for now:

1983 Topps Tony Gwynn BGS 10 Pristine (1 of 3)
1984 Donruss Don Mattingly BGS 10 Pristine (1 of 1)

    Other wishes:
    1952 Topps wax pack (PSA)
1954 Topps 5 cent wax pack (PSA)
    1971 Topps cello box
Always buying 1971 OPC Baseball packs.

  • I also enjoyed this thread and all the lists.

Am I the only one that would want a T 206 Wagner PSA 8?

I also find it kind of funny that, if money was no object, everybody would not want the highest graded card of there selections!

Hopefully, many others will add their lists, it is interesting seeing how different the lists are.

I love TNP's list with all those Dodger items. I once completed that T 206 Dodgers or Superbras team set, but they were all ungraded & not high quality. I loved having the Zach Wheat rookie.

So everybody, post your list and win a vacation for two to Pahrump, Nevada!!!image

I honestly would still probably stick with mid-grade cards even if money was no object. I don't care about high grade. For me the cards were made to play with, not sit in a box and collect dust. Dinged corners and creases happened because they were enjoyed. Holding those cards allow me to connect with another generation. It's hard to hold a PSA 10 and imagine that a kid actually enjoyed the cards.

    That's my opinion, anyway.
