The sharpness is VF-25, but the highest devices have been rubbed which give it negative eye appeal. It might be touch and go as whether or not it would get a slab grade.

I don't know anything about grading them, so I will stick with environmental damage, as an OPINION. I have no experience with that date, I might be inclined to think it was altered. It is a low mintage coin, although the 1844 gets the moniker and rarity. Regards, Mike

Sorry Ebaybuyer, but your dime has more that just a little more wear than the XF45 shown. Look at the flat spots on yours on breast, legs and arm of Liberty.

Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
My gut feeling is 25+ - 30 ... However, I don't collect them and
