<< <i>I saw mention recently that CWTs might be certified by PCGS soon, but I do not remember where or by whom. >>
Please I hope not! Don't even talk about it. HTTs and CWTs (and all other exonumia for that matter) should stay ATS IMHO. I hope our hosts have enough good sense to stay away!!! Ughhh....
I'm addicted to exonumia ... it is numismatic crack!

"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. I really don't understand your antipathy for Civil War Tokens and Hard Times Tokens. They have been legitimate collectables for a long as contemporary coins have been, and many of them have for more interesting back histories.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
I think they do collectors a great disservice by NOT attributing Feuchtwanger Cents. What's so difficult about it? 13 varieties each with very clear diagnostics. If they carry this over to CWTs your label will carry no info but the grade year and "civil war token"
