Aviation Experts, Who's This??

I picked up this medal today at the local flea market.
It must be an aviation hero or dignitary.
Any idea who it is??

    Looks like Mussolini but I doubt that's who it is.

    That's one ugly dude....does resemble Mussolini. What's that around his waist, or is he leaning against something?

    Since the emblem on his jacket is the same as the company logo on the reverse, I would assume that it was the President or Founder of that company.

    He's pointing at a map?. Can anyone see rank on his uniform? Looks like one line of ribbons. "Experience Aviation" seems a commercial message. Is the logo PanAm or TWA?

    I'm seeing "flight suit" and I'm thinking test pilot Maj. Chuck Yeager. A tribute medal. He might have been the first to break the sound barier/n

    Our aviator is smiling big as he looks to the stars. And that plane's circling the Earth a quite a clip.

    Appears so, but I've never heard of him and the medal must be a fairly recent issue and obviously not made of silver.
