Ebay question?

I am dumb and lazy...so help me out.....basically what percent does ebay get for selling a sports card on there site?...my sisiter just sold some concert tickets for 500 dollars and they charged a 45 dollars fee...is 10% the norm?
I know how you set up the auction is a cost factor..but If I set up some simple auctions and sell 100 to 500 dollar cards what % will I pay

You will pay 9% selling fees after the item ends.

Ebay uses a complicated formula based on the category, listing type, etc., etc.

I always figure in about 12% when combining ebay and paypal fees.

I have been factoring in 15% for both ebay and paypal. I thought ebay was 9% and pypal 6%.

For auctions the FVF is 9%, Buy it Now listings are 11% of the first $50 and 6% of the remainder. Paypal fees are $0.30 + 2.9%
