Better to walk away from this one. There are 10 teammates ready to testify against him. He looks better walking away from it rather than going against all of them.

Not surprised in the least but it's still a shame.

I knew he didn't have the ball to fight all of the allegations.

I'm not shocked, but it's still a shame.

Yeah, a fraud has been exposed, and his sins have been laid out for the whole world to see...

But no one's any better for it.

It's a bit amusing though as the USADA doesn't really have the jurisdiction to strip him of his TDF titles, that's up the UCI.

  • So how many of you had ever heard the story on why Armstrong was so dominating all those years?

Some self proclaimed expert on every subject in the world once tried to tell me that his lung capacity was far more than any other human ever tested and that allowed him to be so dominate. I'm sure glad I didn't buy that! I thought he was an alien, or maybe it was Phelps, I'm so confused!image

I am not saying he is guilty or innocent but one thing that strikes me as odd is he took over 500 drug tests using hair, urine and blood and NEVER tested positive. Now I know that there are ways to cheat the test but to do that 500 times???????? I don't think this is as clear cut as everyone makes it out to be. Unfortunatley we have been lied too by so many athletes, we automatically assume all of them are lying when it comes to PED's.

    Just my 2 cents.

I would have preferred to let him remain as the inspiring athlete for adults and children battling cancer, but I suppose some people's axes are never truly sharp enough.

we just hate successful people, that's all. if you're good at selling lemonade, sooner or later they will tell you it's not really lemonade, because lemonade salespeople only sell average lemonade.

    and haters will believe.

One thing to remember here, he hasn't admitted to anything, nor has the USADA proven he's guilty of doping. All that he has done is decided not to fight the USADA and be a part of their witch hunt arbitration.

Not sure I agree. A friend of ours has a teenage son who has been battling cancer for several years. Lance has had the kid out to his house in Austin on multiple occasions, calls him on his birthday, ridden bikes with him, etc.... I have been very impressed with what I have heard of Lance.
