I saw this while counting up yesterday, it really stood out. I dropped it on the counter and it has a similar ring to a normal quarter, but it has that counterfeit look to it. Hard to imagine that someone would bother to counterfeit a modern quarter. What do you think?

artificial wear?
But thats just my opinion.
The name is LEE!
There are probably thousands of things that can cause it but essentially it's the result of
countless thousands of small impacts that cause the metal to deform rather than to abraid
or slough off. It's like being beaten by many tiny hammers.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Braddi-- that was comical.
One of my co-workers bought this off ebay for some lowball collectors he knows. I was walking by his desk when I noticed it. It's the same quarter I found in the register 12 years ago. I knew braddick bought it, and had it slabbed.
Small world and it's kind of nice to have it again.
