Skunked for the 2nd time this week, you guys finding anything out there?

Went Monday and made the rounds again today...skunked both times. One dealer had NO .999 silver, not 1 oz today.
I don't know if it's because I'm becoming more selective in what I'm looking for or what, but there just doesn't seem to be much selection in my local B&M's as of late, and what they did have, they wanted way too much for it. Spot + $2.50 for way common silver bars, no Engelhard or JM's in sight... $20.25 x face for 90%, and it was all dimes (Ehhh).
How are you all doing in your metals hunt around your areas?

    Picked a 5 oz bar for 80¢ over spot.
    The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

    Spot down means premiums up. If you can even find any.

    I think physical silver has hit a very solid bottom here. If (big if IMO) we drop into the low 20s or high teens premiums will get crazy again.

    i got six loose Alaskan Pipeline rounds(full sets are 12pcs?) for 29.25 ea and 3 other bars for $29 last saturday. they had just gotten them in F night.
    singles listed on ebay are $75 - $85 image

    pickens were slim. maybe 15 other rounds/bars total. no other ASE dates besides 2012.


    i was at a few pawn shops the week before and the only one with any silver for sale wanted $40ea for bar/round/morgan/peace...
    and i got a parking ticket image

    I havent had any problems finding PM's but local dealer said he hasnt had many peaple bringing it in.

    All I've picked up is 2 rolls of walkers and 15 AU/slider peace/morgans for resale. Oh and a 1935 Swiss 20 Franc Gold $5 over Spot and he had 19 more.

    I got silver bars and rounds in the store at spot, and they just sit there

    I have not bought anything in a while but I plan to go to a coin show this Friday (August 17) in Georgia and I hope to find some silver art bars and/or some fractional "gold art" coins there for decent premiums.
    DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a '70's silver art bar expert but I try my best to play one on the Internet.

    Around my area Wally World has been running a special on Federal FMJ .45 ACP 100ct.

    Although last two trips were a skunk

    I hope to also see you there tomorrow and Saturday. I plan to be at this show tomorrow and especially Saturday when I plan to attend to the International Association of Silver Art Collectors (IASAC) annual convention since I am a current IASAC member. This is my first IASAC convention that I have gone to since I became an IASAC member 3 years ago and I look forward to it. I do not know if I am going to go on the last day on Sunday. It depends on how much I spend on Friday and Saturday.

    As a "Platinum" customer, my max s&h charge cannot exceed $10

    FYI. These were purchased strictly for investment purposes. I'm not a SHTF type ... buy bullion believer.

    Went to my local BM and most govt issued silver was spot plus $4-$7. Kinda steep, I looked at a few websites and with shipping I can do a lot better.

    i got a 10 oz bar for .70 cents over spot. it helps to know the dealer
