No I really don't give a flying f***! Clear enough??
Sorry but no one else gets douche chills when someone announces to a random group of strangers how smart they are??

I stated my IQ as humor... apparently you missed the humor and decided to champion a campaign against my IQ.

Why would you attack me? I've never attacked you. Why would my IQ threaten you? My posts in this thread have been directed at one person (the OP). It's humorous that others feel compelled to attack me in my responses to the OP.

You win... my IQ is actually 182. I wanted to appear a little more stupid so I could earn a little street cred on this forum! image

<< <i>when a person says "take care!" does that mean withhold that care from someone else?

perhaps, we should be saying "give care!", which is kinda like saying "give a crap!"......

in which case, by saying "take care!" you are really saying "take a crap!"......

don't withhold that crap, people. lesson learned. take care. >>

maybe I'm just weird, but every time I hear someone say, "I took a crap" or "I need to take a crap" I want to turn around and ask them, "where did you take it?" or "where are you going to take it?" Shouldn't we all be leaving a crap?

    Hi guys

I don't post as much as I used to - and would like to be fair and balanced.

I was just wondering if these questions/accusations have reached diminished returns and only has the net result of pitting one person against another?

Isn't there a point where it's - perhaps - better to take this to the back room for discussion?

I - personally - took Matt at his word and am comfortable moving on - I can't tell anyone how to feel or think - I was just wondering if there's any more to gain from these discussions?

I fear this can only help to stifle contribution here?

    Now it is, thank you.

No, I couldn't care less if a random stranger on a message board tells me how smart he is.

Clearly your 161 IQ doesn't allow out to understand the meaning of imply. Under whose authority do you prepare contracts? Sounds like something a lawyer should be doing. Did your contract law class teach you the difference between a contract and an auction? Because under UCC section 2-328 (which applies to Sales By Auction), "a bidder may retract his bid until the auctioneer's announcement of completion of the sale". Granted, eBay's TOS may specify otherwise, but in general the UCC governs the sale of goods in most jurisdictions.

Still waiting for your citations of the "local, state, and federal laws" that apply to bid retractions on eBay.

I prepare contracts under my authority, and under the direction of the State of Indiana, Department of Defense, Department of State, etc. A lawyer (or team of lawyers) reviews every contract I author.

I was making a general statement and not providing legal advice... if I had provided legal advice I would have implied to be a lawyer. Regretfully my IQ precludes me from being a lawyer. image
