Nice little Buffalo w/TrueView

Here's one just back from PCGS, graded at MS64. Was hoping for higher but it's certainly nice for the grade. Phil did a great job capturing some of the subtle toning.

Wow, I used to own that nickel. Bought it raw about 20 years ago, and sold it maybe 10 years ago. Was thinking about it the other day and now it pops up in a beautiful True View...

Coin has a lot of character and the strike certainly merits a higher grade. Streaky toning on reverse probably didn't help the grade but I like the look a lot. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments. Really clean fields on this one, and ZERO carbon anywhere which I've found quite rare, even among gem buffalos. Cool that another forum member recognizes this one from way back when it was raw, small world even for coins I guess!

Thats a nice buff....but it has been dipped and not rinsed properly...therefore the streaky toning

That streaky toning is more likely metal mix issues in the planchet.
