Does this 1964 Kennedy have top pop potential?

I have a dozen or so uncirculated rolls of 64 and 64d Kennedy Halves and have just started going through them. I'm not experienced at all with this series so I need a little help on this one. I browsed through some auctions and took a look at photograde, and it seems this coin might grade 67. The reverse is superb, imo.

Can I get some opinions from those in the know?

On the obv the marks in the hair and chatter around 9-6 would prevent that high of a grade. Also does it have a fingerprint o the neck?

I'm not in the know on MS Kennedy's per se, but I have a hard time seeing much more than an MS 66, key distracting points for me are the hit in the hair, chatter on and above the 6, and chatter on the jawline on the obverse and a little chatter on the bottom half of the shield on the reverse.

Would be interested in what others think however as it is a very nice coin.

Rim chatter and ticks limit it to MS-64, or on a great day MS-65 IMO.

Yep....a little chatter at the 6.

Not a fingerprint. Looks like that is part of the design.

I see that now. They look a lot worse in the photo than in hand.

I believe it is part of the die. An anomaly of sorts... I have quite a few with this characteristic.

it is a feature that really shows up on the accented hair varieties much stronger than the non-accented.

No way that coin would grade MS67 by our host.
With all the rim dings on the obv I'm thinking 64 maybe 65 on a good day.

An MS63 or MS64 example of an ultra-common coin. Melt bucket material.

The stuff on the neck I call "flesh marks," an actual texturing that is apparently in the hubs as it appears on all high-grade silver Kennedys but becomes less apparent in later years.

Nice! If the obverse was as superb as the reverse, than one might consider a " top pop". The finger like print. I see a lot in the kennedys,in the same area also? Nice choice of coin!

Probably a 65, due to marks around the date. Not really worth slabbing.

The coins on PCGS coinfacts seem to suggest colorful tarnish is needed for high grades. The 66 example shows more chatter than your coin. However no rim nicks, which is what I see as your coins only weak point. Grading fees plus postage etc probably not cost effective to slab this but I'd certainly put it at least into an airtite or 2x2 and preserve it...... Or wrap it in a taco bell napkin and then submit it in four years and it may grade higher The "common" factor on this coin though is exceptional. It can be thought of as a Kennedy tribute and zillions were/are saved. Melt attrition is this coins only enemy, as it's circulation time was amazingly short.

64 at best chatter on the shield and tail feathers main reason.

The coin itself is clean, but the ticks and taps on the rims will limit the grade to 65 at best, IMO.
