When submitting do you sticker the CS 1's

Just renewed my membership and getting an order together. Order is about 130 strong and lots of odd ball items. I use an excel spread sheet to identify the items, my question do you still need to place sticker with item # and submission # it equates to. I do not see that instruction on the PSA website, but in the past have always gone that route.

Thanks for any feedback.

I just write on the order form "See attached list" and staple the spreadsheet to the submission form. I have never had a problem with it from PSA. JM2¢.

I always do it that way.

    I put line item and 1/2 2/2 3/3 etc.

I also package them in order by line item.

Hoping it would make it easier to log-in.

But I usually send in modern and have multiples of the same card.

No, it's not necessary as they log in each card upon receipt of your sub anyway.

I do it on unopened pack subs though to make sure they are straight with individual star cellos and the notations on the holders.

I haven't used stickers in seven years. I make my list in order of sport, year, set, then card number, and I sort my cards to match the list. No need for stickers.

I've seen how some people submit their cards, in a jumbled order, and I would imagine that would make the stickers necessary.

I used to, until I subbed few more cards than I was prepared to at a National many years ago. I went up and asked them if they had a few labels I could use to finish my sub and they said it didn't matter if they were on there or not. Haven't used them since, but I do package them in line item order as they appear on the enclosed excel generated submission form(s).

Carol posted somewhere on this board that it is no longer necessary.

I haven't done it for a couple of years.

I did on my first few subs then realized what a terrific waste of time it was. I figure if the people grading the cards cant figure out the card, they shouldnt be grading it in the first place

i use to label each csI. they still got the cards wrong. i even put post its with what the card is on and they still get it wrong. PSA Q&A and Spec department are far from stellar. in fact they leave a lot to be desired. i have even printed out the info page about cards from the beckett website and they still refuse to holder the card saying they dont know what the card is and that there is no info on the card.

I have always used them (still do). I actually use their stickers. I don't know if they still sell them but I bought a bunch of rolls years ago. I only use them as a security backup. If there was ever an accident and cards went flying I would not want my cards mixed up with an order belonging to someone else. If there were similar cards how would they tell them apart?

So, is the consensus that you have to send in the submission forms (or Excel spreadsheets) with each card described in order, but that stickers on the cards are not required anymore? I have a massive, incredibly diverse, submission to make. The first thousand or more cards have been listed on the forms, with stickers attached to the Card Savers. I suppose I should call and inquire about whether to continue to fill the order that way, as it is very time consuming and cumbersome if it is not necessary.

Don't waste your time and fees listing on ebay before getting in touch me by PM or at gregmo32@aol.com !
  • I always prefer to do it in that method. I used to package them in order by line item. I think it would make it simple. I used to put line item.
