    Thanks for the Reminder!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

The only thing that would make this story better would be finding 72 bucks in the reject tube, of the coin counter, on your way out......

Let's not revisit that thread. At least FadeToBlack worked with the teller and the books balanced at the end of the story.

I harvested silver halves from my bank, and my teller gave me eighty dollars of silver halves while I was picking up my box of a thousand. I gave the teller a cut AFTER I stopped searching (just before I moved). this was last year.
Several years ago, in a different bank, I had success finding silver. I gave the teller a gift, and I never found any more silver from that bank. Some tellers get smart very quickly.

Many large banks have rules in place where the tellers cant "buy" any coin or currency out of their drawers.

Still an amazing find.... Meanwhile, I have never even found a 40% half in all the rolls I have searched. Oh well...glad someone has good luck with bank rolls.... Cheers, RickO

Likely a stolen collection dumped at the bank by a meth head.
