1936 satin proof lincoln newp

gosh i was on the fence...it sat on ebay about a day...it was cryin to me in my sleep...i silenced it
kinda a strange one though...to me it looks miss-attributed as it looks more like type 2 or brillant
what i really liked was it's "cameo-like" looks...enjoy if ya do...guess the grade if you care too

I saw it on eBay as well and thought it looked nice for the grade. I still remember the PR64RD I sold for you, probably would at least plus these days.

I'm not very good at grading the Lincoln series but it sure is pretty. I'll go 64 and I can not count the color from the images shown very well, so I'll say brown. At any rate Ted, it sure is a beauty. Congrats on such a wonderful pick up.....Joe

Here's the only Pre-1950 proof that I own. Picked it up on Teletrade a few months back because of the very ncie cameo contrast on it...but probably overpaid for it a bit. It's a PF63*.

    Neat little coin.

I have not seen enough 36's in person to make a guess on the satin vs brilliant!

Nice coin but I'm in the T2 crowd as well. Having said that, are those hairlines in the right obverse on the coin or holder? That could be a clue as the T1 had heavy die polish lines on the obverse.
