I recall commenting on this coin so I suppose you might consider I took a "shot" at you coin. I don't feel like searching but I believe I wrote I didn't take the image as an absolute from before like many do. I also remember saying something like IMO it wasn't a Moose, Monster sham WOW or whatever your title was and then edited. And, I still don't. I also recall I had a feel for how it would look and when I see these images it tells me I was fairly correct in my assumption of how it looks. So, if you call that taking "shots" I'm OK with that. As before when I said glad you like it and enjoy.
I don't hate the coin, I thinks it's decent. I just think Monster Moose gets thrown around too often.

Bob takes great pictures and Lloyd finds great coins. That said, I like the walker (and I don't like many walkers), love the date (haven't seen many nicely toned walkers and even less with that date).
I would also say that, I agree it isn't a moose type coin. It is an exceptionally nicely toned piece for that date/series, imho....the obverse more than the reverse.

Actually stman,it wasnt you,and you and i know each other,so you did in fact say images were not an absolute, and hey its you.LOLSo that wasnt directed to you.You know the old sayings about opinions, and until one sees any coin in hand, can you really tell?Best,Lloyd

Agreed, and i think it will some day end up in a 67 holder.JMHO,date and series, special. Now about this inverted S?Anyone!
Great coins are not cheap, and cheap coins are not great!
Its funny...people make comments on a coin, or a photo of a coin, either condemming it or loving it without even seeing it in person. I personally think that coins like this are very hard to photograph in a way that gives the viewer an un-doctored overall idea of what itreally looks like.
That being said, I think that the original photo from a few weeks ago was great, as is this new one. BOTH of them capture certain aspects of the coin all the while being different from each other. I like them both.
Nice coin and way cool variety---it is definitely an inverted S. Unfortunately, the value is only marginally more. I would not pay more than an extra $50 for such a variety. I wouldn't pay more than $200 for an inverted 45-S in MS 65, as regular 65s go for about $150.

Just answered by Winged Liberty. Some of us do things because we have passion for coins,it isnt always about the money guys.Kind of like most women in Vegas, cant spell class if you spotted them the C or the double s.They cant find an app. for it.LOL!

Lloyd - I don't know what specs you should have for a 7 on this coin. I don't see the stray tick mark here or there that you see on 6s. Am I correct that the toning is attractive as it appears in this image, and it doesn't detract in the slightest from booming mint luster? Based on my limited experience / success in this area, I don't see PCGS often providing upgrades which substantially increase the value of a coin. What is the spread on this coin between a 6 & a 7?

Spot on pics too.
EDIT: See no mention of a 45S with a IMM in my CPG 4th Edition Vol. 4.
A 44s is listed. MS63 $125, doesn't really mean much. Cool variety anyways.
