Oddball Mattingly Card

I recently found this in a bunch of oddball stuff I have collected over the years and found this. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I checked the back of the card, and this is actually a sticker with a type of puffy picture of Mattingly. It is not the Topps type of flat sticker.

Vin, thanks for the insight. I wonder if PSA would consider grading? Your thoughts. It would be my luck they would say NO!!!!

My first instinct would be to say no they wouldn't grade them. I've always thought of it as a broder type issue, but I am not 100% on that.

If it did come with a bat, or glove (as you said it might have) then there is a chance they might slab it. Worth an email to customer service IMO.
LMK how you make out if you do contact them.

Is there top secret info about this Mattingly oddball card that can't be shared here?

No, I just happen to think of Vin because he collects Mattingly stuff. We had a PM discussion about where the item might have come from. As I recall, the item was attached to either a play bat or glove.

I appreciate any information about this item.

Vin, I will contact PSA and send them the scan and see what they say. With no mfg or date, I doubt they will slab.

a google search for "Don Mattingly STC" revealed a few lists/ads for a "STC Puffy Sticker Card", but none of them gave any information about the year it was issued.

I know this is an old thread, but talking with a friend today. He pointed out that the name type font is the same as the 1987 Topps Mattingly card. That should narrow the year down, now just to figure out the STC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
