You might find a bit of a bias toward people in rural areas on any Internet forum. I currently am active in two hobbies that would be virtually impossible in the days before the Internet - this and planted freshwater aquariums. Both of these are niche hobbies that require a fair amount of interaction to exchange ideas, brag, beg, etc, etc. I'm betting many people who are active in a local club get by fine with less of an Internet presence. This isn't universally true, of course, but in my entire circle of acquaintances, there are precisely zero who even know that slabbed coins exist. >>
If I mentioned a slab in any sentence in my neighborhood,they would immediately think of a ham sandwich!
