I went to the Post Office today and found a few bills in my box along with a package. Now I have no idea what was inside because I did not buy anything recently and do not remember making any trades or anything from these boards. The Post Office did take there time getting them to me as the Postmark is June 18th and today is July 6th whereas they were mailed from Columbus NJ which is about a 45 minute drive away.
Well inside was a bunch of hockey cards that appear to be mostly box bottom cut cards and they look magnificent. There was also a 1971 OPC autographed Rick McLeish card which is sort of ironic because he was my favorite player. Again, I do not remember making any kind of deal for these but it is definately appreciated. I am keeping the McLeish card and a Lemeiux and giving the rest including a Gretzky to my son to enjoy for his collection.
To the person that sent the cards I want to give a big THANK YOU!

Rick ran a landscaping business in South Jersey years ago, and I knew one of the guys who worked for him.
I gave this guy about five 1972 o-pee-chee cards for Rick to sign, along with a few others, and Rick signed them all in pen.
If this is something you'd really enjoy (and would not sell), then just list your address and I'll get them out next week.
I'm not sure I can honor more then four or five requests though.

What a nice offer. That's what is great about this board. I'm an auto collector, but not a hockey guy. I hope some true MacLeish or hockey fan takes you up on your offer.

I remember him getting number 50 in Pittsburgh on the last day of the 72-73 season and scoring the OT winner in Game 1 against Montreal in the semi's a few weeks later.
