Atlanta Card Stores

I'll be in Atlanta on business next week and I may have a couple of hours on a morning before I catch my flight home. Does anyone know of any decent shops in Atlanta that are still in business? Thanks.

    Justin,

There are a few in Marietta/East Cobb that I know of:

BP Sports is in the Marietta Square. He has mostly signed memorabilia and a few old cards in a glass case. Not much in unopened wax.
Blue/Gray Sportscards 607 Roswell Street, Marietta 30060 has comics & cards and has unopened wax.
JT Sportscards has moved to 1050 East Piedmont Road, Marietta 30062 not sure the suite number, but it is to the left as your facing the Publix. He has a bit of everything.

Sure there are others, but as I live in Marietta, these are the few I frequent.

    Best of luck,

What is the shop in the old mall going up I-85? I think it is in Gwinnett county.

What is a Local Card Shop? I'm not familiar...

Is this one of those things my mom used to read me bedtime stories about along with Snow White, Social Security, and the Edsel???

Check out FCB Sports Cards, Comics and Games

    9850 Nesbit Ferry Road #21
    Alpharetta, GA 30022
    (770) 993-6955

    FCB card shop

The shop has a lot of gaming stuff, but the owner is all about sports cards. If I remember to look back at the thread, post what you are looking for and I will dig to see if the owner has anything you want.
I am working on the Nolan Ryan master set. Need 1004 more cards to complete. I might actually spend more on plastic than I did on cardboard.
  • Thanks for the help guys! I'll be doing work in Newnan so I'll see how much time I have to get around.

There used to be a card shop off that main drag into Newnan from 85. No idea if it is still around.

    Justin,

If you're gonna be in Newnan, you have ZERO shot at making it to the north side and back to ATL if you only have a couple of hours. The traffic will kill you both ways. Been livin' here over 20 years. Better you have a nice leisurely lunch before heading back north on I-85.
