I know most people will run the other way BUT I figured I'd test the waters and see anyways...
For sale I got a raw Jordan rc It's 100% authentic and unaltered, I see no problems with it grading a PSA 5

I agree. It does have nice centering though.
PSA HOF Baseball Postwar Rookies Set Registry- (Currently 80.51% Complete)
PSA Pro Football HOF Rookie Players Set Registry- (Currently 19.80% Complete)
PSA Basketball HOF Players Rookies Set Registry- (Currently 6.02% Complete)
and I disagree, I've subbed about 1,000 or more 86 fleers over the last couple years so I feel I know the set a little..
Price is good IMO..

Hmm.. I think mines nicer than this 4 with corners about the same but the psa 4 has stains and not as nice centering,
or this..
<< <i>Too much white on the corners and chipping on the border compared to the 5.5 >>
Thanks for the insight, Are you interested in the card? if not please move along. Thanks.
It would put every buyer at ease and you would get your money back from the grading in the sale.
I would not suggest buying a raw 1986 Fleer without being able to hold it in your hand to look for the tell tale signs of counterfeting.
Don't waste your time and fees listing on ebay before getting in touch me by PM or at gregmo32@aol.com !
<< <i>Why not have it graded before selling. There are a lot of fake cards out there and it is not difficult to put some wear and tear on one to make it seem more authentic.

Yes I'm aware, But anybody who has dealt with me knows I can be trusted..
Second.. I've purchased I don't know how many raw Jordans off ebay which were all legit and now in holders.. "the last one was a BGS 9" I posted a thread about it on here..
I can get more for it graded than I'm asking but just needed some quick cash and don't have a PSA membership at the moment..
If it don't sell I'll eventually get it graded, But I'm offereing a great deal to the boards so Maybe someone will grab it..
For anybody who "knows" this set spotting a fake Jordan (even from a cruddy scan) is very simple, My 8 year old son can do it..
PS - I also said it was a great price - never attempted to derail the thread. Dizzle knows it is a great price.

Dizzle- I'm not a huge basketball guy, but I thought the way to spot fakes in 86 Fleer dealt with the orange check to the right of "premier". Legit copies have spots here, most fake copies have solid orange. I cannot tell from the scan, based on the only test I know. What are the other "telltale" ways to spot fakes in this set? This is a good forum to educate the rest of us. Thx and nice card. Good luck on your sale.
Always buying Bobby Cox inserts. PM me.
Looking for 1970 MLB Photostamps

There's a few different versions of the fakes.. the check to the right is one way to tell but in a scan it's hard to tell sometimes, You can check other things like the contrast between blues in the name tag and side boarders to how thick the black lines are on the front. some fakes have the eyes solid on the bulls logo on the back, the period is missing in 27.2 in his stats, etc...
I've made mention of how to tell and posted pics on here in the past if you do a search..
I sent the Jordan in it got a 5.5
How do you like your crow prepared bobbyw8469?
<< <i>Wow then perhaps this will fetch a 10!

Surely a 9 if not.. Nice card
My #2 Ranked Michael Jordan PSA Basic Set
<< <i>Just Incase anybody was wondering..I sent the Jordan in it got a 5.5. How do you like your crow prepared bobbyw8469? >>
So your asking price of $350.00 was right on, as the VCP on a 5.5 is $385.00. So $350.00 plus the grading & shipping fees and you are right at the number.
Dizz ... how is the rest of your set doing? I remember when you bought that raw set off eBay and you got some AMAZING grades on those!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
