Winner is AM909 who guessed the exact final price of $2,760,000 a week ago (page 38 of the thread).

Isn't Buyer premium 17.5%? Which maks the final price of $2,820,000? The 2.5% discount should not count, right?image

A 17.5% buyer’s premium will be added to all successful bids. Buyers who purchase an
aggregate of $50,000 or more of hammer will have a discounted Buyer’s Premium of 15%
    added to all successful bids.

Amen. It's a giveaway, folks. Lighten up. I agree with TDN, who ironically did a nice giveaway a while ago at some post count. His reward: someone whined about the results.

  • Thanks to most of you, and, of course, to PCGS for this opportunity, and the beautiful coin I'm anxious to see!

To the minority posting "sour grapes", you'll be disappointed to find out that I am one person, with one ID, who read the contest rules, registered, and made an educated guess. Sorry I won't be contributing to your warped view of humanity.

Note that the "you suck" award is a highly honored forum tradition. To have received one with only one post means you have set a record than can only be matched, never beaten. Congrats on your new coin and welcome to the forum.
