Thanks it was just buried in the sand. At first I was bummed by the corrosion(?) but after seeing other "found" beach coins, I've realized this one ain't so bad. I wonder if it came from a pirate ship

So, about that other photo... I got home so late last night it never happened. Left at 8AM for my road trip (see other forum posts) and so it'll have to wait a couple weeks until I return
