How about a "you stink" award

I've never had the priviledge of getting a "you suck" award
for a coin that is worth 1000X's what I paid for. So, how
about a "you stink" award for a coin that is worth 10X's
to 999X's what the owner paid for. Just a thought !!!

Poor hygiene seems to be a common thing at coin shows, I'd say many shows could pass out a you stink award to large numbers, both attendees and dealers.

if only it was a bit more socially acceptable... id like to have given that award to the guy ahead of me at the gas station today ! jezuz H keeryst dude ever hear of SOAP ? if yer too lazy to take a damn shower at least empty a can of SOMETHING on yourself before venturing into public. deodorant, airfreshener, bug spray, pine sol, pledge, ANYTHING would be an improvement !

Imo, a "you stink" award should go to someone who aggressively tried to sell a coin for far more than it's worth (I can think of several dealers who tried to sell me an $9-$10K coin max for $14K to $15K, and another one who tried to sell me a $5,000-$5,500 coin for $8,500).

It can also apply to a seller who aggressively tries to misrepresent a coin.

Or finally, it could apply to a coin seller who is incredibly rude to a potential coin buyer. Re the latter, I can think of one dealer who got personally offended when I politely told him that I liked his coin, and asked whether it would be possible for him to give me a 9% discount on said coin, because if he would do so, I would cut him a check for it then and there.

Or, if you want to go ethnic on this, you can re-title the award, "ste puni govana."
