Scarcer mint which produced cruder Taler output. These generally have planchet flaws, weaker details. I found this as being a nice representative 16th century piece which was reasonably priced.

This is a perfect example to note wear v/s plachet-weak strike pcs.

Personally I think it's well graded - too well graded - deserves to be in an AU53 holder even just for overall eye appeal and preservation state...I like it alot Z.

I'm really starting to like these older cruder Talers with eye appeal

Cool piece. I don't collect them, and I know essentially nothing about them, but I do like these 16th century talers. I'll have to fix that someday.
