I got my 4 packs today, but I usually get a jump on these rips as I am in Illinois.
All 4 packs arrived nice and clean. Nice seals, no tears, no musty smells, etc. If I had to guess I'd say that they were all 8-ish.
Mine had no big names showing (Tony Oliva was the biggest), so I decided that I won't be pack grading any of mine. I decided to rip 3.
The gum was not loose, but also did no damage to the gum card. No heat warping either. Star power was weak throughout my packs, with Seaver being the biggest name I pulled.
About 75% were centered like the Seaver shown below (Low and Left, but not awful). That said, there were typically two very well-centered cards per pack. Corners were nice throughout as these packs have obviously not been jostled much. Those who have ripped minis before probably have experienced getting runs of packs with slightly oversized cards from the Rookies run - I got two (nobody good), dead centered and a little large, with some corner bending from the wrapper.
One potentially huge positive about these packs was the lone Green/Yellow card I pulled - Cruz. It was full-sized, which is not always the case on green/yellows (although I believe Cruz isn't short as frequently as some of the others).
Anyway, here are a couple of scans - with Goose being the best pull:
All in all, a fun little rip. You boys can thank me later for leaving all of the Ryans, Bretts, Younts, and Aarons for you
Cruz is an absolute beast to find in Mint 9 grade. If that card were centered a smudge higher, you'd have a shot. As is, I think you're just short of Mint 9 but that card even as an 8 is well worth grading. Thanks for posting the scans!

Updated this morning. Looks like we are down to 4 payments!! Good work everyone.
CaptainNook For me personally what appeals to me about the 75 minis are a few different things. 1. price point. I feel for something thats 37 years old and only 45 bucks a pack is great. 2. All cards are from one series, so you can get anyone at any given time. 3. Strong rookie cards with great hall of famers for this year as well.

Got my two packs today...only player I can see is Chris Cannizzaro on the back of one of the packs....the other pack looks like a team card. Not sure if there is any known sequencing?
Here are my 4 packs. I made a video of it. First off sorry for the cicking noise as it may be the auto focus and if I butcher any names.. lol I didnt do to well. Cards overall were off center. Mostly up and down with a few left to right. I may have a few to send in to psa, but want to check the pop reports first.
You might get a 9OC on Brett depending in back centering. If so, that's a hundred dollar bill right there.

That was a BIN auction and higher than average. Not sure if VCP tracks OC sales properly, but I recall market value being closer to $100-$120 before ebay fees.

<< <i>Wow if if all my packs look that good, I am going to grade them all. >>
The packs look very clean--I'd say between 8-9...the risk is that they stay that way during transit and through the grading process as wax packs are always a gamble due to wrapper tears.

Thanks. Its probably the best centered 75 mini I have ever pulled. Too bad its a checklist, but at least there are only 2 PSA 10's [if it would even grade a 10]

<< <i>Wow if if all my packs look that good, I am going to grade them all. >>
My packs all looked great. I will definitely be sending in the Yaz showing to be graded - not a high end card, but its the best 75 mini with a star showing I have ever gotten [though I do have a Keith Hernandez one as well]
Looking for PSA HOF autos, PSA Vintage Red Sox and Pedro Martinez
Couldn't resist opening one of the two. All but one card was oc to the bottom almost to the point of miscut and couple were. No star power. Resisting the urge to open the other....
Cracked my two packs, no star power, and these are the best five.
The Mendoza has those two bad print dots on the left. The Zamora looks the best but it has some black smudging at the top-right. The Darwin is nice but the top to bottom centering is a bit off. The A's WS card is great but it happened to be the WAX card. Boo. The Firemen card has some nice centering but it has the print dot above "Firemen".
The two purple/yellow cards are oversized by at least 1/16"... do these get rejected by PSA?
Still loved this rip! Plus it gave me an excuse to buy some extra junky goodness! I bought a 1987 Fleer Glossy main and Update sets, plus to wax boxes of 1987 Leaf. Woohoo!!
In my experience, PSA will slab the "tall" cards but they may use the baggie holder instead of the one with the dividers due to the size. The pink/yellow and tan/bue color combos are typically "tall" while the green/yellow and red/yellows are typically "short" out of the pack, especially the red/yellows. Zamora looks good! Try using a nylon on the World Series card if wax is on front.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
Got my packs today. From the front there was one of the 4 packs that looked solid and I figured I would send it to get graded. I flipped to the back and there was Graig Nettles. One of the other packs that I might not have sent in has phil neikro. Do I grade that one just because he's there? It's his 11th card (I think), but he's in the HOF. Either way I feel lucky to have an all-star and a HOF on the back from just 4 packs.

<< <i>Thanks for the update Mike. It looks like the nicely centered ones have some black print on them. Is that a function of the scan? >>
The print is on the cards, John. Looks like just one of the sheets, but pretty light - I don't think it is PD level.
