Home Trading Cards & Memorabilia Forum

Does the forum administrator move threads to different boards routinely?

Just curious. I started a thread about Sports cards in pop culture (movies and song) here that got some interesting responses. I got an email this morning that said it had been moved and it now shows up in the Sports Talk forum.

Is that common?

No, but on occasion they will.
    Good for you.

The thread you started was about sports cards and memorabillia in TV, movies, song, etc. While not necessarily the "standard"
for this forum it most certainly was NOT off-topic.

It would be a much better investment of time for the forum administrator(s) to spend their effort getting some of those who
regularly choose to behave like "Mean Girls" out of here once and for all so that the vast majority of the forum members can get back
to contributing to and enjoying the forum.

Don't let the move discourage you!

One of the most enjoyable threads in a while. Sad to see it banished to where few will see it.

It was on topic, so why the move?

That's some funny stuff when you look at it from my "mean girl" perspective.

I think with 200 posts the administrator doesn't want me getting too much forum street cred and this is my pre-emptive "Cool Hand Luke" night in the box. Should bode well for me when I get back to gen pop.
