My New Web Site

Good Morning Everyone:

First off I want to say sorry for the spam and if this is in the wrong forum. I have been away for the hobby for a while working on a project to help the collecting community with things I saw were wrong with other buying and selling sites. I encourage you all to check out Sports Card Direct where you will be able to buy and sell your cards. My mission is to provide a simple, efficient, and cost effective vehicle for buyers and sellers of sports cards alike. Think of it as the International online classifieds for cards. I have created a welcome youtube video as well You tube video for everyone to see the site.

This site is geared for all types, years, etc of cards and even though right now it is mostly modern rest assured it will grow with vintage too.

Thanks again for reading and I hope you check it out and enjoy it as much as I have creating it.

Great site Darren!!!!! I know it will work and hopefully will become the next Facebook type site. In a couple years we might all be saying "hey I remember that Darren Styles guy before he became an internet billionaire". Are we looking at the next Zuckerberg?

I will be going to card shows and doing some advertising in some of the sports card publications. One thing that I am learning is the power of social media as well. There are numerous forums that I am a memeber that I will be posting in too. To be honest it is a grass roots effort and will be a challenge but think in the end it will be well worth it.

Not sure why to be honest. My wife and I just like the sound of it. Also you are buying direct from the seller so there is no middleman and I will be seeling the buyer a sports card, kind of all just came together that way.

Hey Everyone:

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has supported the new site thus far. Presently we have 170 registered users of the site in the first 3 full days and over 900 cards listed and growing. Some of our users have already sold cards which is even more encouraging and looking at the statistics of the site it looks like the word is getting out and growing.

So once again thank you and if you have not checked it out please do so and ask any questions that you may have so we can make this the best site possible.
