    No - not a monster.

When you say he had a lot of beautifully toned coins, did they all have the same warm gold and electric blue toning?

No. They were all different, Tradedollarnut. If this one weren't in a PCGS holder, I would have been a little skeptical myself....

  • << <i>i guess the defintion of Monster is all over the place, it may not be ebd roll toning, it may not be rainbow toning, it miay not have $ green in it but imho it is a monster and equivalent to most other monsters that I have seen on these boards. I happen to love the color blue and when both sides tone. Maybe we need to have monster designations such as:
Monster 1.0 (low end Monster but still a Monster)
Monster 2.0 (mid range Monster, what one would normally expect for Monster )
Monster 3.0 (high end Monster, likely an upgrade to Moose Monster)
and then these divisions will satisfy all the monster nuts, yours then maybe a Monster 1.0 , low end for a monster if that is what it is, and all the Monster affecianados would be happy.
Seriously I love it and thought it was a Monster at first blush! >>

Clearly the world is ready for a 3rd party monster stickering service. Sounds like you just threw your hat into the ring.

When you see a monster you know it. This is just average at best, still nice to add to a collection.
