<< <i>Such a hypocritical place this is, why is it when members including myself sometimes post redundant idiotic and mindless posts (which I don't think there is anything wrong with btw I am known to do it myself) Broadstruck is typically the first one to critique it and not in a very loving and caring way but when he himself posts some repetitive nonsense as he just did I just don't see his alter ego coming on here and telling him what he tells many of us when we do it, I guess it is true there really is a circle of trust .......and I guess I am not in it. Have a great day off BS! (amazing how a wink can let one get away with just about saying anything, maybe this icon is as powerful as that so-called circle of trust power thingy! >>
Realone, I'm sorry your not in the Circle Of Trust
Also as I don't suffer from multiple personality disorder I'm unable to provide an alter ego to come into my own threads to critique them
<< <i>Don't tell me Broadstruck, Jr. had another Show & Tell in school !! >>
Gosh no... I saw this on a dealers web site and thought it was funny

<< <i>No question!! Don't be ridiculous, of course it will by several folds!! >>
It must as why else would one cover up the Louis Eliasberg pedigree
<< <i>Just to be clear, I was not not insinuating that you had an alt, however at times I really do believe you have two different personalities or at times it just appears to seem that way >>
This thread is just posted in jest... As it's no secret I have a sense of humor
There used to be a time when I posted in depth serious discussions on this board but it only took one member to post something and the entire thread would poof...
It just got to the point that I do not need the typing practice

i understand this and hope i've not contributed too often to this sort of thing, but make no mistake
if there is some useful info in a thread, even if it goes awry, someone will get some use from it when they search the archives
i know at least 1 person that uses the archives ;-)
lol @ the green star sticker !
which comes first the chicken or the egg? does the green sticker make use more secure about holders with them or more insecure about the ones without?

Not sure, BUT.............if it were a GOLD STAR, that be something else
<< <i>A few more stickers and you'll have that worthless pedigree covered up. >>
<< <i>I can foresee a competitor to the CAC bean system developing. Let's say that a "QAC" or "QC" sticker comes along. Will the coin be submitted to that company with or without the "CAC" sticker? Probably with, because the assumption is that it is great for grade; will the other sticker be put on in addition? What if you could keep track of a coin with a passport system, and complete records of all grading service and transaction history, does the consumer want or need that? >>
Q A C. Quack?
Hmmm. That is a lot of permutations up there - with sticker, without, did it not get a sticker before? Try again? What could you do with all that activity and energy?

Why is the green star there?
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Also seriously ...
What is the word after 'Denali' that is covered by the bean?

Eliasberg/Denali Collection
<< <i>...why else would one cover up the Louis Eliasberg pedigree >>
...perhaps to prove that they buy the sticker(s) and not the slab or pedigree (or even the coin)?

As I wrote across the street, the stickers detract from the value in my opinion. It will cost at least 25c in Glue-Be-Gone and $2 in time to remove the obnoxious (star) sticker.

do you think it would help if the owner of the company would use littler stickers of their face instead?

I think they are spoofing the other green sticker or they are hoping someone who can't think for himself will pay extra for the sticker thinking that someone else must really like this coin.
