Are there any coins (aside from those at the Smithsonian) attributed to those Presidents?
Yes John Quincy Adams' collection was sold by Stack's in March of 1971, by request of the Massachusetts Historical Society. As for details on Jefferson's collection you might want to contact Eric Goldstein

Thanks for the info Greg. I just read "First Family: Abigail and John Adams" by Joseph Ellis which has some discussion of John Quincy Adams. It's nice to know our leaders have been collectors and that their coins have survived with the provenance intact.

Well, I don't want to speak for njcoincrank but he did include a hint when he said 'one of America's most popular presidents' so I'm narrowing your list to:
Ike
Kennedy
Reagan
Clinton

I don't know much about Ike, but we can probably remove Clinton from your list.
Eisenhower was a much loved, former 5-star General and I would go on to argue that Clinton was one of our more popular and charismatic Presidents

...all of those guys only know how to spend coins, NOT save them!.

Clinton failed to win a majority of the popular vote both in 1992 and 1996. There were many people who did not like him at all.
