There is no one "center of the numismatic universe" since it's spread out over the entire world.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Agree---this forum is the center of many member's universe since they spend much of their time here.

Probably the cities of Mountain View, Sunnyvale and Santa Clara Ca.
You ARE using a personal electronic device of some sort to communicate this question, correct?

Edit to add, of course, San Jose for you know what. image
By volume, I'm sure more coins are sold thru eBay during any given week than all B&M or shows combined.

    Without a doubt Chicago, Illinois.

Now the center of the art universe is Florence, Italy with Paris in second place.

Just to the right of the middle of that thing the Liberty Bell hangs on, on the Bicentennial Ike Dollar's reverse?

Are there other extraterrestrial intelligent beings somewhere in the universe, that collects coins?
Heck there may be other life forms in our own galaxy that do. The Hubble Space Telescope estimated that there are 125 billion galaxies in the universe.

I always thought it was the gold-steepled Price Memorial Hall, in Dahlonega, Georgia, built on the original granite foundation of the former United States branch mint. The facility, long considered "ground zero" for Dahlonega Mint enthusiasts, is the administration building for North Georgia College & State University and is nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.

  • Without a doubt Philadelphia PA. Just think of all the early, historic, drool worthy coins that were born on a single piece of land less than a block in size. It is mind boggling to think of the coins that came from that small piece of real estate in the late 1700's and early 1800's.

    My mind, of course.

However, I'm afraid that it does not live up to all the hype. Perhaps I need to slap a bean on it.

Good luck in all your Universes. image
