Good eye.
Nice and clean but a 65 I think.
Same on the quarter.

the lincoln...above the "o" was an area someone "worked on" something...his obverse has alot more nicks that were hiding
"not being sent in"...oh well
the quarter
on his jaw is a minor noteable with 2 on his neck
still should fetch a 64 and is going in...65 isn't out of question but not expected by me
but a "light motto in 64" for $45+ grading should pay...not much but still worthy
not impressed with these calibur of images in how they hide things...<<<<note to self...learn this

I hadn't seen this thread before now, but before reading the above by you, my initial thoughts were that the lighting was likely hiding some nicks/marks on the lincoln.
That's the top of shot/lighting that will do that.
The same type of thoughts for the quarter....
The lighting the person used for those pictures is not favored by me...either buying or selling.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
The Washie looks like a slider to me so I say AU58... The Lincoln MS64RD.

Bochiman I agree with you and selected the proper emoticon this time!
The Lincoln is so flooded with light that you can not see the chatter in the obverse fields nor make out the small strike through on the O in One Cent on the reverse.
The Washie shows friction all over the obverse IMHO which could be album slide marks on or just typical rub attained by a brief life in circulation.

If you can shoot some pics of the Lincoln, I'd like to see what was hiding in the lights.

circled area's show cuts
on his lower shoulder is a bunch of scatter too
that area above "O" in one on reverse is the grade killer...something was worked in that area
i'll give this away in the future to some y/n...
yeah i wouldn't do it to pcgs or future owner send this in with that area above the "O"
it is a study in an image for future reference...$4.50...cheap tuition too

The marks and chatter on the shoulder might preclude a 67 grade, and might not. The area on the rev may just be from the dies and not worked, I have seen many Lincolns that have that look in that part of the rev design before. But I'd really have to see it in hand to say for sure, still a nice coin and should makd a nice YN gift if you go that way.
