Does a 100 gram silver bar 1000/1000 from Boliva carry a premium?

I had an ebay buyer that was crazy for the man any coin with him on it she wanted. That and william tell 5 franc swiss coins not sure what was going on there but I still have an email address for her.

Its most likely from Venezuela.

Its an unusual bar ...but demand its just too low....no significant premium.

Neat looking bar. Can a bar be 1000 fine when it's tarnished?

The left center edge on the reverse side of the bar has a small notch which appears to be some test mark. Also, how do you know it was made in Bolivia? Simon Bolivar is revered throughout South America. That's a really neat bar and the first like it that I've seen. Will we see it soon on the BST?

Good point. Collectors want bars that are recognizable as far as source or manufacturer. Sould still be worth a small premium over melt since it's not your typical common J-M or Engelhard bar.

same guy but slightly different and it sold for $85
So in theory mine should be worth $165- 170

Does this sound plausible?

I took a straight on image, the bar has alot of toning.

I bought it a while back from a dealer and we weighed it.
