May 12, 2012: 3 more silvers

Needed a place to go yesterday, and remembered a place that my dad and I used to hit years ago. No chance for anything old, but there's silver there...it's just hard to detect.
After a half hour there was only clad to show, but then got a shallow quarter signal (less than 2 inches). Not expecting anything good, I didn't dig the most carefully and put a few scratches into a 1957 quarter! 30 seconds later another shallow quarter signal...1964 quarter!!
Not much else for the next hour and then a '63 Roosie!
Surprisingly no wheats, but all of the coins were shallow - nothing past a two or three inches.
HH all!
