Never even thought about searching for these! I did find four in my change jar just now
and they are all 2.5 grams. Oh well, time to keep an eye out!

I've kinda been looking but all my prospects weighed 2.5 as well

Im curious as to what it will bring in the heritage auction and think it
will bring in well more than $15,000

    Wow!
I have an OBW roll of these.
    I'm opening it tonight.

I can anticipate all day long what an MS example would be worth at auction and how sweet it would be
for the Seattle Mariners to win the World Series this year.image

This is a great coin to search for and could possibly be in your pocket right now. I have been checking mine but did not find any of them yet. I suggest checking the 1983-D's also as there could possibly be some D mints out there also but none were found yet. How many of us are actually doing this? I don't think many people take the time to check the weight of individual cents. There could be some more out there somewhere. JMO--Bob
