A Couple Of New Franklin Proofs I Picked Up.....

The 1952 has a couple of scrathes on the bell that are hard to see in the pic, not sure if they would keep it from grading.

I like the 52 best as well. Not sure if any of them will CAM though. If I were you I'd use something like MS70 on them to remove the haze before submitting. I made a CAM that way once, though only a 65 and not an early date like these. Nice coins and good luck if you submit them.

    Very nice coins.

From the pictures it seems like the first 1951 and the 1952 are proofs made from repolished dies. The last three coins (1954, 1950 and 1951) look like they were made from original dies.

    Congrats on the pick ups.

Great looking group...I'm a fan of the two 1951's, and the 1952 is exceptional; would love to see that one in hand after a bath. The fields on the second 1951 are exceptionally deep for the date, deeper than any I've been able to put my hands on yet...unfortunately it doesn't appear to my eye that the frost is as thick as some of the other coins you've shown.

    I see the thread title.
    I see the Author.
I know I'm about to be blwn away with some very nice looking Franklins that I'd love to have.

Now, here I sit. Not dissappointed in the least bit. image
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Those are pretty sweet. I understand the disappointment of looking at the obverse of the 1950, only to flip it over and get disappointed with the reverse.

But all the rest are keepers! image
