Any regular coin shows - small or large - in the Nashville, TN area?
Didn't the ANA host a show in Nashville a couple of years ago? Are they planning to host more shows there?

There was a Whitman show in Nashville a couple of years ago.
The high sales tax (around 10%), plus the fact that it applied to the entire purchase price, was a BIG negative.
Dealers had to either: raise prices on their entire inventory, or not offer discounts off of their listed prices, or eat a huge hit to their profit margins.
As you might imagine, dealers weren't real happy about this.
I don't think Whitman plans to return to Tennessee in the near future.

The high sales tax there with no breaks is a killer. I would not even want to be a coin collector living in the state for that reason.
