Hello All, New Poster Here

I am a college student who lives in the NOVA/DC area. Does anybody know of any coin shows in the northern VA area that you will be going to this spring or summer? I have read the forums here for a long time

  • I am a college kid who lives at home. So the funds are VERY limited. I am only 20. I collect walking liberty halves, and I have been looking for a nice 1904 s or 1905 s 5$ Lib in MS 61/62 on HA for a while...I have yet to see one that I would pay 500-1000 for. However, one of my most regretful moments on eBay was 3 years ago when there was an NGC MS 62 1904 S 5$, which I thought..."Oh, I won't win it...," then it sold for a price I was willing to shell out for it.

Don't feel too bad. If you had bid, the other bidder might have gone much higher.

The Vienna show is held quarterly and just happened last week as mentioned previously. The Annandale show is held twice a year and is at the end of July. And yeah, Baltimore isn't far for the Whitman show.
