I know coins should not be cleaned , but one glance at this one and i think you'll agree something needs done. I don't know if acetone or mineral oil or what is best or what the green actually is , theres a lot going on with this coin , first glance it looks like PMD but it isnt.Whats best to clean it up a bit ?

whatever you do...it will show
have you tried boiling it?
the heat of boiling opens up metals pores so it can release whats on it
i've heard vinegar is ok on copper as it's slightly acidic
maybe put a vinegar mix to boil it in???
myself...copper...i gave up long ago...it doesn't like me playing with it at all
one note though...find a couple crappy cents to experiment with first as i'm seeing you do have care n concern for this one...
toss it in mineral oil while you see what works on the crappy ones...
conserving is not doctoring
personally i'm glad some early copper was while it makes me sad to see some that weren't
best of luck to ya too
of note
the right side of the building...is that smooshed or raised?
Maybe the top piece got peeled off and you see the raised letters where it was. That lower right corner is also probably a lamination that hasn't been peeled off but it's lifted up where it looks raised and continues up where it looks like a crack.
Just my thoughts on it
Since it's already ENV damaged there's probably not much to be lost if you can clean that green junk off of it.
Acetone soak should remove the verdigris and contaminants, but there will be dark areas where it used to be...
