<< <i>Great first pack!!! I liked Quick Mick too. Great guy to meet in person too from what I hear. >>
When he was with the Yankees I used to see him at Belmont Racetrack all the time!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
<< <i>Well. if you thought that was bad. Wait until you see Pack 4. Not only is it horrendous but every bottom right corner is smashed! >>
If you have to have smashed corners better on these.

I don't care if there were no stars--I enjoyed the thread. This is far and away my all-time favorite set. I haven't opened a wax or cello pack from 1976 since, well, 1976. Thanks for letting me experience this along with everybody else--I could almost taste the bubble gum.
Great thread, I love 1976 Topps Baseball. I made this T-shirt in high school in 1976. It won 2nd place in my high school art show. My god I have gained some weight.

Thanks for the show Chris. Very nice vintage 76. I agree with David that the Fisk and Lynn look really great. Too bad about Ray Fosse. I always liked that card. Do you think Pete Rose dinged his corner.

Fisk and Lynn got 8s. Munson and gamble 7s. Randolph miscut. Apodaca very strong card - 8. The PSA Gods deemed the Danny Ford worthy of a 9. Thank God.

Note smash...
OK the Munson isn't bad either. One of my all-time favorite cards. Hard to believe that I never actually owned one until now.

Awesome shirt!!!!!
This is a beautiful rendition of a once-revered card.
Sorry it's out of focus. I must have been excited. 2nd to last card in last pack. It has its issues but still cool.
Thanks,
