Is this 1878S TD a fake?

Just started looking around for the trade dollar obverse and reverse types after reading tradedollarnut's post.

I googled the types and the best source coming up so far is this eBay guide.

According to that, it appears my 1878S trade dollar has a type one obverse and 1877 and afterwards only had type IIs. So far with my looking my reverse appears good to go. It weighs in at 27.2 grams.

The coin appears to be real and with the proper type 2 obverse. Type 1 is where the ends of the scroll both point to the left.

here is a chart I made, feel free to copy it for your records if you wish. Also make sure to check out TDN's website in his sig line and my showcase for more collector friendly examples of all of the Trade Dollars. Also Dave is sopt on as always and the 78s is real if not low grade and dipped.

Funny how that ebay guide doesn't show a pic of the berry under the eagles claw on the type I reverse, since it's the most obvious tell. Course it doesn't matter because Crypto just hooked you up with a better guide.

Agreed about this 78-S, looks authentic and the weight is correct.

    Looks real but cleaned.
