Some of my best rare European art bars are now on ebay and will be over the next few weeks. Enjoy the bidding! I am confident you will never see many of these bars for sale ever again.

    I have this 1982 World Wide Mint Proof American Silver Eagle set up on eBay right now for $174.95. If anyone is interested, I would of course do a little better than that for a deal done via the forum. The set is really cool and comes in a nice little display. Each piece is marked .999 fine silver and the total silver weight of the set is 2.85 troy ounces. I really like the eagle design from the $10 Indian gold coins so I was immediately drawn to these pieces which have a similar design. Also, a few of the pieces have some attractive toning, particularly the 1/2 ounce round and the 1 ounce bar. In searching around, I see the World Wide Mint 1 ounce bars and rounds every so often, but very rarely see any of the fractional silver rounds and when they are found they're usually part of a full set like this.     Does this work on the honor system between a few friends. Do we use a check, direct paypal, etc. Do you buy from a familiar name only. Are the sellers dealers or private. Can I offer items too and how do I protect myself.

    Honor system between friends. If you are new here, you can buy but would have trouble selling until you build trust. If you want to sell as a new member here, offer to ship to any well established member here prior to payment and it helps to include a good pic and description of what you are selling. It's also O.K. to ask for references but if the buyer or seller has been here for several years and has a post count in the thousands, he is probably safe to do a transaction with. Method of payment is determined by the seller but most sellers are fairly flexible. Someone who has been here awhile with a high post count will not risk his reputation here over a bad coin or bullion transaction.

    $21.25 face value junk silver (90%) broken down as follows: 71 Washington quarters, 2 Standing Liberty Quarters, 1 JFK half 1964, 1 Walking Liberty Half, 20 dimes (about half Roosevelt and half Mercury). NOT BU, NOT nice. Junk silver.

    Am a serious buyer of Stillwater Palladium rounds in original packets, especially the packets with smaller fractional sizes, which had ten pieces of 1/10 oz, and four pieces of 1/4 oz, and were made in 2004 & 2005. Excellent references available here in PCGS, and ebay. Please send pm.
