1971 Peg Leg Ike....Lots of Proofs, but not too many UNC..??

I've tried lots of my dealer friends, but can't get a good feel on this one. Please, with all the knowledge out there, I figured you guys could help.

We have found many Proof Peg Leg 1971 Ikes.... but not too many of the 40% silver Unc versions.
How rare are they? Is there a small/medium/large premium for them???

Thanks in advance.

Proof Peg Legs are very common. Probably 35 - 40% of all proofs are Peg Legs.

The unc blue pack is the one to look for.

  • Unc blue pack, 1971, must remember that!!
  • The picture I included is from an UNC 40% blue Ike.
So is it worth grading? Any place I can find values? Any place I can find info/pop???

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

Not sure the coin pictured by the OP is a Peg Leg Like to see more of the coin. Normally the curve portion of the R (the right side leg) is very polished off and straight as well
